Use Our Allowance To Build National Cathedral. Teacher Trainee Evangelist Appeals To Government

In a news copied from Voltaweb page clearly attest that Level 200 teacher trainee at Accra College of Education, ACCE(Name Withheld) has appealed to president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to instruct Students Loan Trust Fund to call off the payment of trainees allowance  and use the proceeds to support the construction of the National Cathedral.

In an interview with the said Evangelist over the weekend, the intense  teacher trainee cum Man of God asserts that God has been wonderful to Teacher Trainees over the years and the only way Trainees can replicate such gesture is to contribute their quota towards the Construction of the National Cathedral

"See, my brother, I am a true man of God and I know what I am talking about. God has been so good to trainees over the years. Our grandfathers used to spend over 40 years to obtain First Degree. However, we are lucky to achieve this at a youthful age of 20-26, he opines.”

He further stressed "The only way to appreciate his infinite mercies and love bestowed on us is to offer at least four years of our Teacher Trainees Allowance To God through the National Cathedral Construction".

When queried on the general teacher-trainees acceptance of his proposal, he affirmed his earlier position that even if other Trainees disregard his call, he would formally write to TAG National Executives to deduct the money directly from source.

When asked on the total amount to be deducted from Trainees Allowance, the Evangelist cum Teacher-trainees urged TAG and SLTF to consider at least 4 years deduction.

As to whether this wonderful and laudable proposition of this Trainee will be incorporated and adopted by TTAG and other stakeholders, it remains to be seen in the coming days.

Do you think government should use trainees allowance to build National Cathedral?
