University of Education Winneba has officially announced that there will no more be Objective questions in the End Of Semester Exams for level 100 first semester -Colleges of Education.
In an official press released statement dated on 16th May, 2023, the institute for teacher education and continuing professional development has channeled this information to Principals in colleges of education affiliated to UEW.
Meanwhile, end of first semester examination for level 100 is scheduled to take place effectively on the 29th May to 2nd June, 2023
At first, the test items were in two sections, which comprises of the multiple choice questions and essay type questions. The management has agreed to go with the essay type questions only.
The reason for this new implementation is that they want to assess students true performance. They believe that Objective questions has no validity of the test items in the long run.
