From past academic years, colleges of Education end of semester exams were in two sections. The first part was based on objective criteria, meaning a question would be asked with suggestions of answers which bares one to select one correct answer from the alternatives given. [ WATCH VIDEO ]
The second section was also based on theory. The theory demands one to give a supposition ideas to explain something based on general principles.
University of Education - Winneba has come with new implementations that, the exams shouldn’t be based on both Objectives and Theoretical Concepts but therefore, objectives should be eliminated.
A level 200 trainee from Methodist College of Education has throw up grievances to this statement.
From his speech, he made it known that exams shouldn’t be based on theory only but rather objectives must included.
Objective measures factual knowledge and It encourages memory work also.
“I think UEW officials should think of this well and revised this actions towards trainees”
We hope Winneba would consider trainees’ to boycott this implementation
