Teacher Trainees across the country receive a monthly payment of students Allowance to ears their burdens as students. The government in collaboration with the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) are responsible for payment and disbursement of the said Allowance respectively.
Teacher trainees in the Forty-Six (46) public colleges of education have agitated for the payment of their allowance for some months now. The government keeps scheduling the payment of these monies to the trainees.
Information gathered by a Verified Blogger(Virgin Rich) indicates that payment of students' allowance is scheduled to be paid. . A follow-up made by our team last week revealed that the government of Ghana is yet to release funds to the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) for disbursement.
